Introduction to Radio Stations

George Highfill sings country and western music. Real, traditional, country music.
The fact is, George is one of the best performers I’ve ever worked with.
The main thing we want is to get airplay for George’s highly acclaimed new album, “Thank a Trucker ,” to be released August 22nd.  Here’s a link to a review.

First, some background on him that demonstrates he’s the real deal.

George is from Oklahoma and has been writing and producing brilliant country music for years.  He has been associated with and performed alongside Hank Thompson, Merle Haggard, Reba McIntyre, George Jones, Dwight Yoakum, Lee Greenwood, the Judds, Ray Price, and countless others.  After writing his first song at ten-years-old, he polished his lyrics in college English courses before heading to Music City, USA. After one year as a staff writer for Tree Publishing, George returned to his native Oklahoma as the first director of the newly-opened Hank Thompson School of Country Music at Rogers State College in Claremore, a small town near Tulsa.

He began visiting Germany and Switzerland, playing country music fairs for many appreciative fans.

He was the headline act in Scandinavia. George’s European visits have become an annual tradition, with more fans being turning on to his traditional, pure, country each year.

George has numerous albums; and seriously, I’m hard pressed to pick a favorite.

If I really had to choose just one I suppose it would be “The Music Born in Bakersfield.” But, I can’t say that without also mentioning “Arlis” and “Waitin Up” (produced by Warner Brothers).  If you haven’t heard the title cut “The Music born in Bakersfield,” you are missing a true classic.  Click here to listen.

If you got this far you really should check out “Two Merles and a Buck” on the “Thank a Trucker” album.  If you are interested, just let me know and I’ll send you a text or email with a link.

George’s music was also featured for two months on an American Airlines in-flight radio program and in the “American Way” magazine.

George Highfill is a legend of traditional country music but not everybody knows it yet”
We are in the George Highfill business.  He is our main focus.  We see him as our most promising project.
Since this is also about money we view him as someone with our that can make a lot of it.

“George Highfill is a legend of traditional country singer songwriter but not everybody knows it yet”
George Arlis Highfill actually signed with Warner Brothers around the same time as “Dwight Yoakum”.
Bad timing and management lost him a 7 album deal.
This is just one of his numerous bad breaks.
Let’s leave that stuff behind and focus on his history, his brilliant songs and accomplishments.
George is from Oklahoma and has been writing and producing brilliant country music for 50 years. He has been associated with Hank Thompson, Merle Haggard, Bonnie Raitt. George Jones, Dwight Yoakum. He frequently played the Palomino Club in Hollywood and like Cain’s Ballroom it stands out as one of the great country music venues. George has numerous albums and seriously I’m hard pressed to pick a favorite. If I really had to choose I suppose it would be “the Music Born in Bakersfield” but I can’t say it without mentioning “Arlis” and “Waitin Up”. If you haven’t heard the title cut “the Music born in Bakersfield” you are missing a true classic. Click here to listen.

With great anticipation we await to hear his newest album “Thank a Trucker” to be released nationally August 22, 20203.
