The Long Kiss Goodnight (1996)

Renny Harlen is a sloppy, resourceful genius of action spectacle. The pacing is so confusing – which really works in this movie’s favor; as it runs like a DIY roller-coaster constantly about to fall apart. The disjointed comedic tone of Davis’ amnesiac assassin matched with Jackson’s sarcastic cop also always feels one beat away from flying off the tracks. All of this is more reason to love it.
From the absurd slapstick of the carrot-chopping sequence to the unhinged, tangled-in-christmas-lights finale… its a generously entertaining 90’s gem.

  1. You really make it appear so easy together
with your presentation however I to find this topic to be actually something
that I feel I might by no means understand. It sort of feels
too complicated and very broad for me. I’m having a look ahead
for your next post, I will try to get the grasp of it!
