van morrison
Van Morrison has had number 1 hits for 6 decades. His music is timeless. He originally started with “them” in the 1950’s. To me “Its too Late to Stop Now” is his greatest album. It’s a double album recorded live. His attention to detail on the album made it amazing.

https://yago.com/music One of the most under-appreciated songs of all time. “South Canadian River Song”. I mean for me to say that is just not me. It’s to presumptuous for me to say something so definitive. It’s also a great album. “South Canadian River Song”, in my mind compares to “Crazy Eyes” by Poco. Michael had […]
Treasure of the Sierra Madre
“badges we don’t need know stinkin badges” The famous quote. Badges. We don’t need no stinking badges.
Goosecreek Symphony
Ok! What a zen album. For most of the younger folks who are into zen they need to know this bluegrass, rock group from the 70s. Most of you have never heard of them but the opening verse of says it all about life’s perspectives and is one of the greatest lyrics. Almost biblical in […]
Dan Hicks and his Hot Licks
Songs I want my kid to hear. yago is slang for you go (as in where do you go). It is actually two words: ya and go. It is a word we use everyday, as in where do ya go, how do ya go, and when do ya go. We just combined the ya and go […]
Treasure of the Sierra Madre
Treasure of the Sierra Madre 1948 A yago.com pick. One of the most overlooked films. A classic! One of our favorite Humphrey Bogart movies. Up there with Casablanca. Who is Tim Holt? All male cast except for a brief scene with a prostitute. This is my number one favorite Humphrey Bogart movie. It’s also one […]
The Perfect Carrie Underwood Song

Whimsical
It’s only a whimsical notion. redit Michael Nesmith of the Monkees. A great songwriter and musician but mainly unknown. Check Rio out I always get this mixed up with “Suzzane” by Leonard Cohen. Suzzane and Joanne they both so great you can’t go wrong if you choose the wrong girl.
San Ignacio
Weird observations. We pride our selves on obscure opinion. So why would we bring up bruschetta? We encountered the best we’ve ever had at the Coyote Grill. Coyote Grill is the restaurant that serves the golf course San Ignacio. This is in Green Valley, Arizona. Not much left to say except if you’re around Green […]
The 1995 Masters
Do you believe in miraclesThe biggest miracle I’ve ever seen… the 1995 Masters. Ben Crenshaw won and Davis Love came in second, but this is not where the story begins.Harvey Morrison Pinick was a pro golfer but is known for his teaching of the game. He taught hundreds of people the game of golf including […]
Mack the Knife
Mack the knife Most people have heard Mack the Knife. Most people would think it was written by Bobby Darin, the singer who made it a hit. But they would be wrong. Even the year it was written is a good question. Most people would guess the fifties – which would also be wrong. “Mack […]
The Big Lebowski (1998)
`The Dude’ abides…The Cohen Brother’s The Big Lebowski has somewhat of a cult following and some people just don’t get it. If you are a product of the 60’s or 70’s then you probably had a friend just like him. Matter of fact, you probably had a friend like Walter and Donny too. Many of […]
